"For years, I’ve witnessed the powerful impact of touch and massage in providing comfort, compassion, and improving the quality of life in hospice care. The quality of training offered by Compassionate Touch® is exclusively tailored to meet the unique needs of elders and people in hospice and palliative care."
I am a licensed Massage Practioner in Seattle, Washington. My early career included general massage therapy practice and chiropractic clinics. The past five years I have been working full time in a Continuing Care Retirement Community in Seattle on Greenlake. This is the most rewarding work I have ever done. I am involved in the full continuum of care including independent living, assisted Living, memory care, and skilled nursing. I am proud that all residents have access to massage and Compassionate Touch. I also provide services for employees as part of the facility's wellness program. I believe the massage profession is growing in the direction of programs in retirement communities and there is a great need for our skills. We are the ones who make a difference in their days ...... and their moments.
