Activity Professionals can now earn 20 hours of CE credit for Level 1 Workshops! The Center for Compassionate Touch LLC is now an approved provider for the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals.  Compassionate Touch has specific applications in long term care activity programs, supporting person-centered care efforts. Compassionate Touch addressed the psychosocial and sensory needs of elders living with a variety of physical conditions and is is tool ot manage challenging behaviors in dementia care.  The Level 1 Workshop will empower the Activity Professional with the knowledge, skills and awareness to immediately use skilled touch as a therapeutic activity.
